MUA Conference 2009Again, this year the MUA conference imediately followed the Lawson's "What's Next" event, and the Lawson UK User Group also held its own conference at the same time.
This conference built on the success of previous conferences, with a programme that had an emphasis on Customer Case Studies.
Also there was the opportunity for approximately 90 delegates to spend time networking and sharing experiences with other MUA & LUKUG members.

MUA Update & AGM
Graham Maxfield, MUA General Manager opened the conference & provided an update to what has been a successful year for the MUA.
The MUA AGM also was held with five Resolutions being tabled:-
Resolution 1 - Acceptance of 2008/9 Accounts
Resolution 2 - Election of new Committee member
Resolution 3 - Re-appointment of Graham Maxfield as Director
Resolution 4 - Change of Constitution to allow non M3 activities
Resolution 5 - Change of name to Lawson User Association

Case Study - Shamrock Foods
Andrew Briggs of BEC introduced the technology used in using voice activiation in a busy / noisy warehouse environment.
This was followed by a video showing its use in various different locations. (Unfortunately our web site software does not handle videos).
Colm Brannagan gave the customer's point of view about the issues that were overcome and the benefits achieved by this implementation.

After lunch the delegates had the opportunity to network and view the various stands and products in the exhibition area.
Graham Maxfield led a short question and answer sessions between delegates.
The conference was closed at 14:00 p.m.
